Elysian Energy Training Center

One week ago we unveiled our new Training Center at 1418 Fenwick Lane in Silver Spring. The Training Center is one of 5 BPI Training Centers in Maryland, and one of only two training centers that has field testing capabilities. The new Training Center will hold courses in the following BPI Certifications:

• BPI Building Science Principles
• BPI Building Analyst
• BPI Envelope Professional
• BPI Multi Family Building Analyst

Our Training Center will also hold Testing and Recertification for building scientists who already hold BPI Certifications and need to renew their certification. We put together a short video that demonstrates our philosophy in opening a training center “to enhance the built environment for a more sustainable future, by training a generation of building scientists”. We aim to train several hundred building scientists, energy auditors, and efficiency technicians each year, contributing to the increased efficiency of buildings in the Mid-Atlantic region.
