Commercial Energy Audits & Consulting

On average, 30% of the energy consumed in commercial buildings is wasted. Our team helps you enhance your building’s energy efficiency, saving you money, improving your comfort, and creating a more sustainable community.

ASHRAE Level-1

Our ASHRAE Level-1 Audit is the basic starting point for building energy optimization. It involves a brief interview with your operating personnel, a review of your facility’s utility bills and other operating data, and a walk-through of the building. The ASHRAE Level-1 audit will help you understand how your building’s energy usage stacks up against similar building-types, set a standard for measuring improvements to your building, and decide whether further testing is necessary. The Level-1 Audit qualifies you for a range of financial incentives available from federal, state, and local utility programs.

ASHRAE Level-2

The ASHRAE Level-2 Audit builds on the findings of ASHRAE Level-1, evaluating the building energy systems in detail to determine a variety of possible energy improvements. Components tested in an ASHRAE Level-2 Audit include:

  • Building Envelope

  • Lighting

  • Heating

  • Air Conditioning (HVAC)

  • Domestic Hot Water

  • Plug Loads

  • Ventilation

  • Compressed Air

  • The Level-2 Audit results in a clear and concise report that describes a variety of Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) including no-cost and low-cost measures, modifications to system controls, and building automation, operational changes, and potential capital upgrades.
