Home Heating: Energy Saver Infographic

Winter is upon us, and homeowners everywhere are cranking up their heat. The Department of Energy put out this fantastic infographic on Home Heating in the U.S. Color us impressed at the level of information provided on different types of heating sources and heat distribution systems. In particular, we are glad to see that the info graphic contains some great information on Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) for combustion appliances (furnaces and boilers). AFUE is one great measure homeowners can use when purchasing a new heating source. The infographic also recommends simple solutions including insulation and air sealing that help make your heat system more efficient. Let us know what you think:
