We identify efficiency upgrades that increase your home comfort and save you money. Then, we install cost-saving products that reduce your monthly utility bill.

Quick Home Energy Check-ups (QHECs) are funded by your utility through a line item in your utility bill that all MD residents have been paying since 2009. Technically, you’ve already paid for one! That’s why we encourage all homeowners to take advantage of the program, which we provide at no additional cost. The QHEC program is exclusive to Maryland residents.

Inspect your home.
The first step to resolving any problem is knowing the problem exists. That’s why a Quick Home Energy Check-up is so useful. We assess your home’s energy use, show you ways to save, and install simple energy-saving products. Our Quick Home Energy Check-ups take just 1 hour and save most homeowners more than $100 on their annual energy bill.
First, answer a few basic questions about your home. After that, one of our building scientists will perform a visual inspection of your home, noting key problem areas with a focus on home comfort and safety.

During your Quick Home Energy Check-up Elysian Energy will install a variety of energy-saving products at no additional cost:
- Light Emitting Diodes (also known as LEDs)
- Faucet aerators
- Efficient-flow showerheads
- Pipe insulation
- Energy efficient power strips
- Nest-E Smart Thermostats [NEW]
Receive your diagnosis.
Once the Quick Home Energy Check-up is completed, our building scientists will provide a Summary Report that includes a list of installations completed and prioritized recommendations to improve your home’s energy efficiency.
